The calls ride on your internet connection. A cable line that keeps working through a power cut does not, and for a few businesses that matters more than every feature on this page. The practical answer is failover: point the number at cell phones so an outage reroutes calls instead of dropping them, and confirm your provider can do that before you switch.
We do not sell you internet, and we do not sell SIP trunks
If what you want is one bill for phone and internet from one company, a cable carrier will give you that and we will not. We also do not provide SIP trunking for an on-site PBX you plan to keep. We replace that box rather than feed it.
It is not call center software
You get ring groups, a phone menu, business hours, and voicemail to text. You do not get workforce management, predictive dialing, or a supervisor wall board. Teams running dozens of agents against queue metrics should buy a contact center platform instead.
No free plan, and E911 needs a real address
