Phoner

MightyCall alternative: MightyCall pricing, the three-user minimum, and who should buy something else

MightyCall costs $20 per user per month on Core, $38 on Pro, $54 on Power and $65 on Enterprise when billed annually, or $25, $45, $65 and $75 month to month. Every plan card carries a seat minimum: three users on Core, Pro and Power, five on Enterprise. So the smallest MightyCall bill you can place is $60 a month on annual billing, or $75 month to month, however many people actually answer the phone. From three people up, Core is a strong buy, with a multi-level IVR, call queues, call recording and CRM integrations on the entry plan. Below three people, Phoner is the better fit: one seat is $15 and two are $30 on annual billing, or $19 and $38 month to month, with no seat minimum and no term.

The full ranked field is in the guide to the best VoIP for small business, entry pricing for every provider sits yearly against monthly in the business phone system comparison, and Phoner's plans are listed in plain dollars on the pricing page.

Where MightyCall is genuinely strong

MightyCall packs more into its entry plan than almost anyone in this category, and that deserves to be said first. Core at $20 includes a multi-level IVR, ring groups with simultaneous, sequential or round robin ringing, call queues with hold music, call recording, voicemail to text, a Windows and macOS desktop app, three local or toll-free numbers, and HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and Zapier integrations plus API access. Most rivals hold at least two of those back a tier. Pro at $38 turns it into a small call center, with live monitoring, barge, whisper and a supervisor workspace, and Power at $54 adds preview and progressive dialers with answering machine detection and Do Not Call Registry checks. If you have three or more people on the phones and want queues and a CRM link from day one, MightyCall Core is one of the best-value plans on the market.

Where Phoner fits

Phoner wins when fewer than three people answer the phone. There is no seat minimum, so one person pays $15 on Starter and two people pay $30 on annual billing, against a $60 floor at MightyCall on annual billing and $75 month to month. If you need a phone menu and ring groups, our Team plan is $29 per person, which is still cheaper than MightyCall for one or two people and ties it within $2 at two. From three people up, MightyCall Core costs less than our Team plan and includes more, and we say so in the table below. Phoner stays the better buy for a solo operator, a two-person office, or anyone who wants to buy exactly the seats they use.

In practice the deciding features are usually the IVR phone menu and call routing and ring groups.

Phoner's side of the table starts at $15/user/mo on the Starter plan and $29 on Team, the plan most small teams pick, both month to month. Extra local or toll-free numbers are a flat $5/number/mo. Where the two products tie on a row, the difference is usually how visibly the feature is built: see the IVR phone menu page for exactly how Phoner does it.

MightyCall pricing in 2026: annual against month to month, with the seat minimum priced in

MightyCall shows the annual rate by default, with a toggle to monthly. The per-user rate is only half the story, because every plan card also carries a seat minimum, so the last column is the smallest bill each plan will accept. Read that column first if your team is under three people. The rates below were read from the plan cards and the feature matrix on mightycall.com/pricing.

The headcount where the answer flips Same team, priced both ways

MightyCall Core against Phoner at one to ten people, on annual billing

This is the table that decides the purchase. MightyCall Core is priced at its seat minimum until you pass three people, and our Team plan is the one that matches it on the phone menu and ring groups. Core wins from three people up, and it includes call queues and CRM integrations that our Team plan does not. Phoner wins at one and two people, and our Starter plan wins at every headcount if you need a professional line per person but no phone menu. Month to month figures are in the note.

The detail Worth knowing

What MightyCall actually costs once you read the plan cards

The three-user minimum sets the bill for any team under three

Core, Pro and Power each print "3-user minimum" directly under the price, and Enterprise prints five. That turns $20 per user into $60 a month and $720 a year on annual billing, or $75 a month and $900 a year month to month. A solo operator on Core pays for two seats nobody uses, which is $40 a month or $480 a year. The minimum stops mattering at exactly three people, and above that line MightyCall is priced at the rate it advertises. Most third-party MightyCall pricing articles still quote a $15 Core plan. The current plan card reads $20 annual and $25 monthly.

Core is the strongest entry plan in this category on features

This is where MightyCall earns its place on a shortlist. Its own matrix ticks a multi-level IVR, ring groups, call queues, music on hold, call recording, voicemail to text, warm and cold transfer, a call flow designer, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and Zapier integrations, and API access, all on Core. On Phoner, the multi-level IVR and CRM integrations sit on Business at $59, and we do not sell a call queue that holds callers with music at all. If those three features are on your requirements list and you have three people, MightyCall Core is the better purchase and it is not close.

Three numbers are included, and the matrix does not say per user or per account

Every column of the MightyCall matrix reads "3 local or toll-free" under business phone numbers, with extra numbers at $5 and international numbers at $15. The pricing page does not say whether the three are per user or per account, so do not plan a ten-person team around thirty free numbers until sales confirms it in writing. Either reading is generous against this category, where one number per user or one per account is the norm. Phoner includes one local number on the account and sells each extra local, toll-free or vanity number at $5 a month.

Unlimited calling and texting sit under a fair use policy

Minutes, SMS and MMS all read "unlimited*" in every column, and the asterisk points to MightyCall's Fair Use Policy. That is normal in this category and it is fine for a sales or support team making ordinary business calls. It matters if you plan high-volume outbound dialing, which is exactly what Power and Enterprise are built for, so ask what the policy caps before you run a campaign. Texting also requires brand and campaign registration with The Campaign Registry, which MightyCall states on the matrix and which applies at every US provider, including us.

Month to month costs 25 percent more on Core

Core is $20 annual and $25 monthly, a 25 percent premium for the right to leave. The toggle on the pricing page describes the same gap as "save up to 20% with annual plans", and the FAQ further down says annual customers "save 25% more". Both numbers describe the same $5, measured from different ends. The premium narrows as you go up: 18 percent on Pro, 20 percent on Power and 15 percent on Enterprise. On Phoner the gap is 27 percent on Starter and 21 percent on Team, and every Phoner plan is sold month to month with no term.

Pro is a supervisor plan, not a bigger phone system

The step from Core at $20 to Pro at $38 adds live call monitoring, barge, whisper, call intercept, a supervisor workspace, real-time analytics, advanced reports and voicemail drop, with AI call summaries listed as available on request. None of that adds a phone number or a routing feature. So Pro is worth it when someone on your team manages agents in real time, and it is money spent on nothing when three colleagues simply share the phones. Price your team on Core first and add Pro only when a supervisor role exists.

Power and Enterprise are outbound dialing plans

Power at $54 adds preview and progressive dialers, AI answering machine detection, local presence for dialing campaigns, National Do Not Call Registry integration, priority support and a dedicated account manager. Enterprise at $65 adds a predictive dialer at ten lines per agent, SIP trunking support and custom integrations, with a five-user minimum. These are the plans for a team whose job is calling lists. Phoner does not sell a power dialer or voicemail drop, so for outbound sales MightyCall is the stronger fit.

HIPAA compliance is ticked on every plan; ask for the BAA

MightyCall's matrix lists HIPAA compliance under Security and Reliability in all four columns. The pricing page does not use the words business associate agreement, so a covered entity should ask for the BAA and read it before routing patient calls through the system. Phoner does not sign a BAA, and a medical or dental office handling protected health information should shortlist providers that will, which on a three-person team may well include MightyCall.

The trial is seven days and 100 minutes

MightyCall offers a free trial capped at seven days and 100 minutes, with a Try for free button on Core, Pro and Power that starts online. That is a short window to test a call queue under real traffic, so line up your IVR, ring group and CRM connection before the clock starts. Enterprise routes to sales. Phoner is self-serve on every published plan.

Honest fit The call

Who should pick which

Pick MightyCall if

Pick MightyCall if three or more people answer your phones and you want callers held in a queue with music rather than sent to voicemail, a multi-level phone menu, and HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho logging on the entry plan. At three seats Core is $60 a month on annual billing, which is less than our Team plan for the same headcount, and Pro and Power grow it into a supervised call center or an outbound dialing team without changing vendor.

Their list price: $20-65/user/mo, three-user minimum

Pick Phoner if

Pick Phoner if one or two people answer the phone, or if you want to pay only for the seats you use. One seat is $15 and two are $30 on annual billing, against MightyCall's $60 floor, and every Phoner plan is also sold month to month. Our $29 Team plan adds the phone menu, ring groups, business texting and call recording with consent announcements, so a two-person office gets all of that for $58 a month on annual billing, or $70 month to month with no term.

Phoner: $15-29/user/mo yearly, $19-35 monthly

Line 04 Questions

Common questions about switching

How much does MightyCall cost?

MightyCall costs $20 per user per month on Core, $38 on Pro, $54 on Power and $65 on Enterprise with annual billing, or $25, $45, $65 and $75 month to month. Core, Pro and Power require at least three users and Enterprise five, so the smallest MightyCall bill is $60 a month on annual billing or $75 month to month. Taxes and fees are added to the invoice.

Does MightyCall have a minimum number of users?

Yes. Core, Pro and Power each carry a three-user minimum, and Enterprise a five-user minimum, printed on the plan cards. A one or two-person business still pays for three seats, which makes Core $60 a month on annual billing rather than the advertised $20. The minimum stops mattering at three people.

What is the best MightyCall alternative?

For one or two people, Phoner is the closest swap: $15 per seat on Starter or $29 on Team with a phone menu and ring groups on annual billing, also sold month to month, with no seat minimum. For an outbound sales team, Ringover and Aircall are the nearest like-for-like competitors, though both also require three seats. Quo suits text-heavy teams, and RingCentral and Nextiva are the larger suites.

Is MightyCall good for small business?

Yes, from three people up. At that size Core is one of the best-value entry plans in the category, with a multi-level IVR, call queues, recording and CRM integrations at $20 per user on annual billing. Below three people the seat minimum triples or doubles your effective rate, and a provider that sells a single seat will cost less.

Is MightyCall cheaper than Grasshopper?

For one person, no. Grasshopper prices per account, and MightyCall's smallest bill is $60 a month on annual billing because of its three-user minimum. For a team of three or more that wants call queues and CRM logging, MightyCall Core lists both on its $20 entry plan, so compare it against the Grasshopper plan that carries the same features rather than against Grasshopper's headline price.

MightyCall vs Google Voice: which should I choose?

Google Voice Starter at $10 per user suits a single founder on Google Workspace who needs one number and the basics, and it has no auto attendant or ring groups. MightyCall Core at $20 per user, three seats minimum, includes a multi-level IVR, ring groups and call queues. Google Voice also sells no toll-free numbers on any tier; MightyCall includes three local or toll-free numbers.

Does MightyCall include call recording?

Yes. Call recording is ticked on all four MightyCall plans, including Core at $20 per user. Its matrix does not list an automatic consent announcement, so in the eleven US states that require all parties to consent to a recording, set up a greeting that tells callers the call may be recorded before you switch it on.

Does MightyCall have a free trial?

Yes. MightyCall offers a free trial limited to seven days and 100 minutes, started online from the Core, Pro and Power plan cards. You can cancel or switch to a paid plan at any time during it. Enterprise is sold through its sales team.

What is the difference between MightyCall Core and Pro?

Core at $20 is the full phone system: multi-level IVR, ring groups, call queues, recording, voicemail to text, three numbers and CRM integrations. Pro at $38 adds supervisor tools, including live monitoring, barge, whisper, call intercept, a supervisor workspace, real-time analytics, advanced reports and voicemail drop. Buy Pro when someone manages agents live.

Can I keep my number if I leave MightyCall?

Yes. Under FCC local number portability rules you keep your numbers when you change providers in the same area, and a carrier cannot refuse to release a number over an unpaid balance. If you are on an annual MightyCall plan, check your renewal date before scheduling the port. Porting into Phoner is free and usually takes one to two weeks, with your old line ringing until cutover.
